Bread of Heaven is a meditation on selected Scriptures that is intended to draw the view of the saved sinner upwards constantly to the Savior. The meditations are more expository than topical and, therefore, suited to those who are looking for something that will enrich their understanding of God's Word and contribute to their spiritual development. I have tried to provide a balanced and wholesome diet from both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Following the recommended Bible readings will certainly assist growth towards a more mature spiritual life. Some of the recurring themes which underpin this work are: the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, the centrality of preaching, the magnitude of God's grace and the magnificence of his mercy.
