Overweight & obesity is one of the leading preventable causes of death worldwide. As the rates of adult and childhood obesity increasing, authorities views overweight & obesity is one of the most serious public health problem of the 21st century. Overweight & obesity became common in university students and it may affects their Quality of Life. In this book we evaluated the effect of an educational program on improving quality of life of overweight & obese university students' in the Gaza Strip using Quasi-experimental. We assessed the overweight & obese university students knowledge', attitudes and practices towards overweight & obesity, then we developed and implemented a health education program to improve the quality of life of overweight & obese university students'.
