Bhagirathananda claims he is a Parivrajaka - a lone wandering seeker after Truth. He was born in Calcutta, India in 1955 and graduated in Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta. In an earlier avatar, he spent thirty years in international trading and his work took him to many distant shores worldwide. He lived in Europe and Russia in the ‘90s. Since 2003, he has travelled extensively in the Indian Himalayas. His wife is a Company Director in Delhi. They have two daughters. Both live and work near San Francisco, in California, where they are raising robust families. Between his wife and his daughters, Bhagirathananda does ‘vagabonding’. He is now retired from business, but his ‘worship’ of the world continues - he continues to travel compulsively.
