In 1979, during the great Charismatic movement, I recommitted my life to the Lord. It was a tremendous spiritual time for me and my focus changed drastically. My first directive from the Lord was to read the Bible. I did. I love the Bible and I read it every time I could get a minute. Sometimes I would just hold it. If I cried, if I was troubled, I held the Bible. To this day, I still love to read it and hold it. It is my constant contact with the Lord. Look for the hard times in the poems and see the answers to my dilemmas. You will notice the good times overcame the bad times. Maybe you will be able to avoid the pitfalls I experienced. I contemplated divorce, running away from home, living in my basement by myself -- my list of heartaches was endless. All created by me because I did not know God personally in the beginning. He taught my how to praise Him and pray. Now my children are grown and my husband is wonderful; life is good. We have 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, with another one due in July. I hope and pray you know our Lord and, if not, these poems will show you the way to a wonderful life.
