The Devil Forgiven goes through many twists and turns and the reader is continuously pulled along. It concerns an extremely remorseful evil one who, after plotting against God’s plan of enhancing the universe, finally realizes his disastrous error. His remorse is so heavy he is like a cold rock floating in space with none of his previous subordinates with him. All he can think of is how can he get out of this predicament.
To be forgiven, the devil is provided the opportunity of living five lives over 1200 years to experience five types of alcoholism with a view towards eventually obtaining the means of overcoming this dreaded disease. An angel is sent to assist him, however she inwardly recognizes there is no way that such an evil entity can be saved. The work ends in an astonishing manner.

About the Author:
Dr. Sullivan is a retired military officer who suffered heavily from alcoholism prior to entering a detoxification site at 48. He then became active in Alcoholics Anonymous and felt a personal need to assist others suffering from that disease.
He began enhancing his education by obtaining two Master’s degrees and a Ph.D. in addictions and counseling, which eventually led to him opening his own business in that field.
A native of California, Sullivan has four children, twelve grand children and two great grand children. He has traveled extensively to all seven continents and 148 countries and presently lives in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
